What is the commission at MBT for 1.0 lot Allen? Are they on spread + commission?

I'm not sure what the commission is off the top of my head, I'm sure it's on the website. I can tell you must be so small that I've never been concerned about it. They do offer two plans I use the pay per limit plan since most of my orders are limit orders sitting on the server I might as will get a kickback from them on the commission. They are spread plus commission which is what you want. I copied an article from Boris Schlossberg and post it somewhere on the forum explaining why. If I get time later I'll look it up otherwise search the forum.

I'm live with FXCM at the moment, and have had no problems with them, however their stock is tanking and I don't want to be the last person at the bar.
Thinking about MB but their not trading public (to the best of my knowledge) means no one knows their financial shape.
I'm with NT so the choices are limited.

FXCM has great data but poor spreads. Not ideal for scalping. I started with them and was always frustrated with the spread. It actually caused me to enter trades early in order to get a better position. what a nightmare. Im very happy with MB.

How did it go closing your account (easy going or pulling teeth)? How long did it take to get your money back? I had ATC running side by side with FXCM and the spreads were both the same (fwiw). Supposedly FXCM has tightened up it's spreads (haven't been with them that long to say one way or the other). Haven't tried a side by side with MB.

Well everyone who is hooked on Ninja Trader is worried about MB Trading, including me. Lets put together a thread over here weighing the different pros and cons of what we learnt from speaking with other brokers before we make a decision.
I spoke to Ninja Trader Brokerage. As Allen said today they are FXCM. That's a good thing but I remember the FXCM spread was always more than a pip. Good news is that NT Brokerage offers .5 spread on the EUR/USD. Their commission is $5.00 per 100,000 units. That's double MB Trading's $2.50 per standard lot.
NT is saying that Trade King forex traders will still be able to use NT thru GAIN technology. They will enable the license to use GAIN and MB Trading for equities and the like.
Thats what I got so far. Lets hear from you now.

Just spoke to TD Ameritrade. They arent compatible with NT for futures, only with equities. So that's not an option for me.

Trade King will not be offering the limits plan. They are a deal desk and will not take commissions but they will have a wider spread

Trade King will offer a 15% reduction of their spread to MB Trading customers for 1 year. Currently the EUR/USD trades at 1.7 pip spread. Not good.

I decided to go back to FXCM. Their spreads seem better too. 0.5 pip. and 8.00 round turn commission per lot. We'll see.

Need advice from traderallen on choosing a broker. With oanda now and cant trade news with them because their spreads widen during news events. Are you gonna stay with mbtrading being that they just became tradeking? Would like your input on best broker as of now. Thank you traderallen love all your videos and look forward to your reply.
