With all of the market manipulation going on right now in currencies I decided to devote part of my time to the futures market trading the ES and the YM. I prefer trading the YM. I use the same basic method that I used in currency trading. Again with my own little spin. I started this method two weeks ago so far the results have been good. I have had about 5 to 10 trades per day and I believe I've only lost on two trades, maybe three at the most. I still have some work to do in fine-tuning my exits but overall it's been quite profitable.

This first trade I took 10 ticks profit after almost getting stopped out. I miss the second trade which is a break of the Big Blue box. Then jumped in again and took eight on the third trade setup

Met my goal again today. the EQ market was volatile so i has to skip several trades do to the volatility being too high. My last trade was about 23 seconds for 20 ticks

Had to sneak in one more scalp. Spot who is on control and trade with them not against them.

Allen. You really show with your trades how profitable trading is mainly about understanding levels of support and resistance, or as u like to say "where are the buyers and where are the sellers"? In your trading you arent really concerned about setups. You have a feel for where to get in , when to hold and when to exit and you're often right about it from understanding the pressures. Very cool. This is something that I'm trying to learn and ur speeding up the process for me, but it's really a subtle skill that takes time and effort to develop.

You can do both Forex and Futures with NTB. Why MB for Forex and not NT?
Reason for asking is I've pulled my money from FXCM and am looking to make a switch.
Tnxs AB.

I have been using MB trading for equities and 4X since 2005. Spreads are important when looking for a Forex broker but more important than that is your actual fill. I've always got good fills with MB. I've tested FXCM and did not like there's spreads or fills. Ninja trader 4X is basically the same as FXCM since that's where orders are routed through.
